  “Perhaps I’m somewhat inscrutable,” says Suzee, our Oriental treasure of a girl, “but there’s certainly no Great Wall of China around me. When I get the feeling that a man is understanding, sincere, and a good listener, whatever defenses I do have come tumbling down.” Despite our January Pet of the Month’s lofty attractions, she sees herself as “very down-to-earth.”
  
  And despite her exotic heritage — half Chinese, half French — Suzee has spent most of her young life in Philadelphia. “I realized how Americanized I’d become,” she says, laughing softly, “when I chose a hot dog over an egg roll — though I did put hot mustard on it!”
  
  Her favorite pastime — speaking of hot dogs — is attending home games of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. “I adore the excitement of being there in person, though one time I caught a Phillies’ fly ball on my right shoulder, and being so light (104 pounds), it nearly carried me with it!”
  
  When our five-foot- six, 34-23-34 Pet was first discovered by Penthouse, she admitted to feeling ten feet tall! “The pictures you see here,” says she, “were shot on location in Hawaii, which seemed like paradise on earth to me. It has a strange mix of Oriental, Continental, and Western flavors to it — just like I do!” she correctly observes, winsomely whetting our otherworldly appetites. “Playing in the water, flirting with the camera, knowing how men would react, was incredibly erotic, even a little one-sided. After all… what can a camera do!”
  
  “Like most Orientals, I have a very strong sense of tradition,” she says, smiling. At a dewy 18, Suzee is the first to admit that her most exciting sexual experiences and her most romantic love affairs are still ahead of her. “I do have a fantasy about making love to Burt Reynolds,” she admits, “and I would like to do some acting as well as modeling. Perhaps I could someday costar with him in Smokey and the Geisha!”
  
  Her only immediate plan is “to grow the extra inch it takes to be a fashion model.” Our flawless Pet of the Month demurely acknowledges, however, that looks are not her problem. “Of course I love all the attention from men, but sometimes they treat me not enough like a real person, too much like a china doll. I don’t want that — like America and China, I want a relationship to be on an equal footing, a partnership… What’s good for one is good for both!”
  
  “I come from a large, loving family — with six brothers and sisters,” Suzee adds, “and I eventually would like a stable, happy home of my own — though not for at least another ten years! Right now I want to learn who I am and try and succeed in my career while still remaining a very normal person.”
  
  “I’m convinced that this is possible. As Lao-tse, the great Chinese philosopher, once wrote, ‘The softest thing in the universe/Overcomes the hardest thing in the universe.’” If it’s so, sweet Suzee, a world of men will be up to your challenge…
