    Hair Color: Brown

    Eye Color: Brown

    Ethnicity: Caucasian

Tall, tawny Texan Cody Carmack first appeared on these pages in May of 1981, then a lass so young she still had dew on her lips. Now there’s a fresh bloom on this honeysuckle rose together with an unmistakable aura of sophistication. The latter, she maintains, is due to her change of venue: from deep in the heart of Texas to the bosom of Manhattan’s elegant Upper East Side. “It sounds like a radical departure,” says our ebony-eyed enchantress concerning her recent Manhattan transfer, “but I actually feel more at home up North than I did down South. People are much less conservative, far more tolerant and worldly. It’s fun to be a standout like I was in Austin, but it’s even more fun to be a fit-in in New York.”

Not that a girl with Cody’s looks and talents wouldn’t fit in most anywhere. Since her first stint as Pet of the Month, She’s enlarged her modeling career and worked extensively for Penthouse doing posters, calendars, and video films. An aspiring actress now taking professional lessons, she’ll appear with Bob Guccione in a segment of the television show “Rich & Famous” to be aired this month.

“That’s something else I love about New York women,” she adds. “They’re never prudish or squeamish about nude modeling. Like me, they see it as a glamorous art form – and most of them wish they could be Pets themselves.”

One of Cody’s favorite pastimes is spending hours strolling through New York’s Whitney and Metropolitan museums, observing how famous masters have depicted female beauty in sculpture and painting. “I think they should hang a framed Penthouse centerfold portrait next to a Rubens, saying ‘By Modern Grand Master Bob Guccione.’ But of course,” she laughs, “the guards would never allow it.”

Never say never, Cody. Confronted with a girl as sublimely delectable as our 36-24-26 former Texan, their stuffy please-don’t-touch policy would hardly apply.
