Nineteen-year-old Chantelle Fontain is not your typical California model. In fact, just a year ago you would have found our Pet of the Month more at home on the range than revealing a range of poses within the pages of Penthouse. "I'm a real cowgirl," Chantelle says proudly. "I grew up on a huge ranch in Alabama, where my family still owns about 1,000 head of cattle and the nearest neighbor is miles away. The ranch is right on the lake, so I spent my days boating--when I wasn't helping herd, feed, and brand the cattle. I figure if I can handle that big a herd and get them to do what I need them to, I can do almost anything in life."It took a lot of balls-- literally!-- for Chantelle to become a skilled rancher. "The most interesting part of my job was the branding," she tells us. "Part of that process includes turning young bull calves into steers by castration. Afterwards we'd make Rocky Mountain oysters. For all you city slickers, that's breaded- and-fried bull's balls. But don't worry--I'm far less aggressive when it comes to men!""Not many girls have lived the life I've lived," says 36C-25-28 Chantelle. "I think most men would be intrigued to hear about the things I've done, rather than be intimidated by them.""Moving to California was a big change for me. I actually live walking distance from a store now. And having friends drop by is an everyday occurrence instead of a rare treat.""Deep down, though, I'm still a country girl," reveals this randy rancher. "I love camping, fishing, and hunting ... and nothing can beat making love in front of a campfire under a sky full of stars.""Chantelle is a natural beauty," says Penthouse photographer Stephen Hicks. "She has an air of small-town innocence about her, and she seemed truly oblivious to her beauty and sexuality on the set. She's a real sweetheart, and it was wonderful to see her transition from a shy girl to a confident woman by the end of the shoot.""I'm pretty soft-spoken," our alluring Pet tells us. "I love men who are confident but not cocky. What turns me on is someone who's strong and supportive. I'll be drawn to a man who places both our needs ahead of his own personal agenda. I'm a very generous person, and I don't care for self-centered individuals." Don't worry, Chantelle-- you'll always be first in our hearts.
