The confessions of a sadomasochist in a recent issue of Forum perpetuate the myth that women enjoy submission and that men should dominate. That view is obsolete.

Changes in society, particularly women’s liberation, have altered that picture and now enable women to exercise their natural right of domination. Too few publications, however, admit this. For example, Time, in a cover story, devoted two pages to the public interest in S/M, but they didn’t admit that modern society finds more and more men being subservient to women. I’d like to present the other side of this issue to your readers.
