A few months ago I hurt my arm while I was working in a warehouse.
The injury was bad enough for my right arm to end up in a cast that covered most of my forearm as well as most of my hand.
Because I’m right-handed I was virtually incapacitated. Besides having to take time off from work, I could hardly take care of myself. I needed help washing, dressing and doing all the little things two-handed people take for granted. Let me tell you, having to depend on someone else to do things for you really sucked.
My wife certainly agreed, because she was the one who had to do everything for me! Besides having to help me out with everything, she had to do all the driving as well as her own job and the housecleaning.
