A few years ago, I did a stint in real estate, selling homes in an established neighborhood. I loved to show couples each home.

When we got to the master bedroom, reactions would be varied, but most couples broke into a warm smile, exchanged glances, and commented, “Here goes the bed, there goes the TV,” or “That wall would be great for the big mirror.” There was usually a hint of sexuality as their imaginations explored the possibilities. I always stayed outside the room, but in a position to see an occasional kiss or an intimate touch.

It was about the time that my husband and I first started to experiment with an open marriage. We had invited third bedfellows and were swapping mates with two other couples. Our marriage became stronger with each daring exploit.
