It’s early Friday morning and I get a page, so I proceed from the shop floor to the front desk, where I find five pink roses waiting for me.

I tear open the card, but it’s unsigned! It just says to wait outside the shipping doors at noon.

The ladies at the desk wonder who the roses are from. I tell them I don’t know! I don’t tell them that whoever it is seems to know that pink roses are my favorites.
