My wife, Kelly, had gone back home to Texas to visit her parents for a week. I was unable to get any time off from work, so I was on my own for the week.

On the second day, Kelly called me at the office to tell me that she had given our good friend Randi a spare key to the house and that Randi would have dinner waiting for me when I got home. My wife knows how I am, and wanted to make sure that I had at least one square meal while she was gone.
