You never know who you’ll meet at a convention. Attendees come from all over, from all walks of life. They are a random cross section of humanity. Of course, conventions all have a purpose, a dedicated focus, but the participants vary to such extremes that you can’t say a particular type will show up for convention X or Y. Party hounds will come to a seminar on religious studies, and the most straitlaced people might appear at a porn industry gathering.
