After a date — or for a one-night stand — where’s the best place to do the deed, your place or theirs?

My friend says it’s the girl’s place, so you can leave whenever you want, but I prefer the comfort of my own bed (or couch or floor or shower or whatever). What do you think? — G.J., New Mexico

Let the woman make that call. Invite her back to your place, but if she wants to go to hers it shouldn’t be a deal breaker. Your friend sounds like an amateur player. Anyone who has rules about where they hook up with someone isn’t hooking up as much as they say they are. Go with the flow, see where the night takes you, and wear a condom.
