I’ve been writing my S.A.M Series column for the entertainment and news website Social Underground for the last few years and my favorite articles I’ve penned are the ones compiling expert sex tips and relationship advice from my Penthouse Pet sisters and my porn star girlfriends.

For those of you who know me from my centerfold days (Penthouse Pet for June 1993) and still follow my career — you know about my 24-year history with the iconic brand that I call family, and the things I’ve been doing with the company for the last few years like writing for the magazine, and producing and hosting mainstream content for our TV networks and online entities.

As Penthouse’s newly appointed Director of Pet Projects one of my duties is to develop and oversee projects that include marketing and branding opportunities for Penthouse Pets. When my Social Underground editor asked for a Valentine’s Day piece it was obvious that I would utilize the expertise of the ladies I see and speak to on a daily basis, the hottest women in the world, my sexy centerfold sisters. I asked as many as I could get my hands on just one question, “What would it take to win your heart on Valentine’s Day?” Because let’s be honest guys, who here hasn’t fantasized about what it would be like to sweep your favorite centerfold off her feet? Even for a night?

Being the eldest in this esteemed group of 10 glamour girls I’ll start it off by saying at my age (51) the way to win my heart on Valentine’s Day is to woo me by doing every cliché and romantic gesture you can think of. For every Valentine’s Day I’ve spent solo, in my perfect fantasy world you’d be making up for lost time. First, decorate my place when I was sleeping with flowers, balloons, and plenty of hidden love notes, gifts and chocolates that I’ll discover throughout the day. Then serve me breakfast in bed (egg-in-the-hole) with lots of black coffee, and orange juice. Have an impressive floral arrangement delivered at lunch, and a white orchid waiting by my front door when I get home. When the sun goes down pick me up and whisk me off to a secret location to do something I’ve never done before, that you’ve spent a significant amount of time researching and planning down to the smallest detail. I wouldn’t even care where or what we did. For me, actions speak louder than words, or material things.

If you went out of your way to do something special to surprise me and put a smile on my face on Valentine’s Day, I promise you I’d spend the rest of the year putting a permanent smile on yours.

This year on Valentine’s Day I am looking for a knight in shining armor to come sweep me off my feet. I love adventures and this Valentine’s I want someone to take me away from the city on trip so that we can both be out of our comfort zones. I’ve never been to Disney World! I wish someone would take me to Disney World this year. We could go on rides all day and enjoy the sunny day in Florida. At night we would go to Epcot and eat Italian food in Little Italy. For dessert, we would go to French Town and eat a crepe while watching the fireworks. Back at the hotel I would want to take a bubble bath with candles, and wash each other’s bodies while he sensually kisses my neck. Then it’s “Netflix and Chill,” haha. Maybe one day I’ll get what I want… fingers crossed!

That’s a pretty deep question, really! Lol. If there was one act a guy could do on Valentine’s Day to win my heart…. Hmmm. I’m not sure if it would win my heart or not, but it would definitely get a guy a long way there if he cleaned my apartment, fixed me an amazing romantic dinner, and ended the evening with a great movie! And if he had a really awesome Golden Retriever! Lol. I’m a sucker for animals.

When I was a little girl I was obsessed with Disney princesses and fairytale stories. I always wanted the prince to save me and take me to this fantasy world full of exciting things. Well, nothing has changed since then…. I’m still craving this fantasy world and these excitements. It is pretty simple to get my heart; a guy just needs to keep me excited. Surprise me with a romantic date, take me to a place I never been, and show me tricks I never expected. Once you treat me like a princess you will win my heart, and I will treat you like a prince.

I’m not one to make too much of a fuss over Valentine’s Day because I think that if you can’t win someone’s heart on the other 364 days of the year, then why bother? Although, with that said I’m never one to pass up European chocolate or macaroons! I have the BIGGEST sweet tooth!

What does a man have to do to win your heart on Valentine’s Day? I have never thought about Valentine’s Day this way. In Japan February 14th is done the exact opposite way. Girls try to express the love for guys. Many magazines & TV shows all speak on the topic of “How To Win Your Man’s Heart!” Most girls provide special chocolate and other gifts as well for guys after 5pm (after the guys work/school day ends). We have everything planned out to show our love and win the heart of our guy.
I’ve noticed in America, couples just start dating after hanging out without officially asking the other to be their boy/girlfriend. In Japan relationships start by verbally asking the girl to become your “GIRLFRIEND”. Girls asking guys, is very taboo in Japan. A girl can be looked down upon for doing so. Yet on Valentine’s Day is a special occasion where the girl has the opportunity to ask the guy. Everything must be perfect. Girls think of each detail, plan for it to be just the two of us alone before asking guy.
The other strange part to this tradition is the guy doesn’t have to answer until March 14th. If a guy gives a girl candy on that day his answer is yes. If girl receives a cookie then it is taken as a polite no. If she is given a marshmallow this is a very negative no. For a guy to win my heart any day, he would have to be a gentleman always and have a sense of humor. Oh, and love cats!!!

In order to win my heart, someone (girl or guy lover) would have to take me to do something out of the ordinary that we normally would never do. Something crazy & fun, having to do with the outdoors would be ideal. Riding ATV’s, jet skis, paddle boarding, etc. is perfect. That’s what makes the day special! Then, I’d want to spend the evening in a more intimate setting. At home with candles, appropriate mood lighting to reflect on the day, & focus on each other. The sex wouldn’t have to last all night, but the feeling of enjoying each other’s company would. That’s how to win my heart.
