To help myself become more “eligible” when I turned fifty recently, I started working out three or four nights a week at a health club downtown, and also tried to improve my eating habits. It took several months, but eventually I was able . to redistribute some of the girth from my stomach back up to my chest. This seemed to help me regain much of the pride and confidence I’d lost since my divorce.
When I finally ventured out into the dating world again, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of interesting and attractive women I found available there. My first social encounters were all with women pretty much the same age as me.
