Recently a bunch of us girls got together for drinks after work.

Claudia was reluctant to join us at first. She’d recently separated from her husband and wasn’t really in the mood to party. When I told her it would be good to be with friends and that she might have some fun, she changed her mind.

We hadn’t planned on making it an all-nighter, but were having such a wonderful time that it wasn’t until the club was closing that we all decided to call it a night. I gave Claudia a ride home. When I pulled up to her place, she invited me in for a nightcap. With my husband out of town and no need to hurry home, I accepted Claudia’s invitation.
