and since I had booked the flight at the last minute, I didn’t have much choice in the matter of seating. As it turned out, my position was at the very back of the plane, where a pair of seats was crammed into a small space. The leg room was limited to say the least, and since I am rather tall, I was not happy with the situation. But the plane was booked solid and there was nothing I could do.
