When the invitation to my class reunion arrived in the mail, I decided that a weekend off from housework and car-pooling was desperately needed, so I marked the date on my calendar. It was going to be my first vacation since Ted was born.
I arrived on campus and received the usual packet of information when I signed in-name badge, room assignment, map of the campus and a list of my old classmates who would be returning for the reunion weekend. I found my way to my room, the same room I had lived in my junior year, and unpacked, then looked at the list of my reuniting classmates. As I scanned the list, remembering this person vaguely and wondering who that was, I saw his name and stopped short.
