Lately I’m really turned on by much, much older women.
I want to approach them, but I don’t know how. How can I approach older ladies without them thinking it’s a set-up? — B.K., Kansas
Women of all ages get approached for romantic encounters. The public perception of human sexuality can be incredibly ageist, while in actuality, humans enjoy sex and sensual experiences well into their golden years. Older women can and do have rich and passionate love lives.
Meeting these women is a lot easier than you think. Go to craft fairs, organic markets and charity events. Women over 50 are unlikely to be doing shots up in the club. They’re at a point in their lives where they know what they like and can afford to indulge themselves.
Go to the theater, the opera, the ballet or the symphony, all of which are wonderful places to meet mature, cultured women. If you’re interested in a woman who’s a little more bohemian, check out organic markets, yoga retreats and tantric sex classes.
I wouldn’t worry about women thinking that you’re messing with them, though they may make you work a little harder to woo them than younger women would. As women get older, their bullshit detector (also known as women’s intuition) becomes more finely tuned.
If your desire is genuine and sincere, you shouldn’t have a problem being taken seriously.
