Last year’s Halloween was the best ever. Instead of going to a party, my husband and I decided to bar-hop.
We spent hours on our costumes, and the final results were just magnificent. We dressed as devils. Ron wore a tuxedo, red bow tie, cummerbund, and cape, and I wore a short, low-cut, form-fitting red dress over spiked heels. The effect was quite dramatic. We both had horns, and were so heavily made up that even our own mothers wouldn’t have recognized us. I covered my light hair with a flowing black wig.
Ron and I were on our fourth or fifth place when I noticed a tall witch giving us a lot of attention. I told Ron she looked familiar, but her makeup was just too good to see through. She wandered over and offered to buy us a drink.
