A couple who had -accepted a student on a four-year plan had had to renege because of the wife’s sudden medical problems. Our friend said she would hate to see the student have to return to Australia because of this unfortunate turn of events. She said we were the first people she thought of when trying to find an alternative home for Brett.

I talked it over with my husband, then called our friend to say we didn’t think we were up to it, but we would help financially if that would make a difference.
