I’ve recently had the most amazing experience right where I am now sitting — in a computer lab on my college campus.
I work at this lab, but this time I was just here writing a paper for a class. This is what happened:
It was a Friday afternoon, about 4:30. The lab closes at five, but I was planning to stay late to work on a paper that was due Monday, so I had to waste a weekend night writing it. The lab people left at five, locking the door behind them. I closed the blinds on all the windows so I wouldn’t be bothered.
