My competitive nature is a true double-edged sword. Growing up, I was a rare combination of physically coordinated with good grades, which got me a free ride to an excellent private college.

When an injury subsequently took me out of sports, my grades carried me into a choice business school. From there, I’ve continued my ascent in the corporate world. Overall, I’ve never been a man to settle for less in anything that I set my mind to. I demand the best from myself always — and I never back down from a challenge.
