Line dancing is, I know, a kind of punch-line social activity for some folks who find it kind of corny. But my wife and I both have busy lives, and we were looking for something fun to do that would get us out of the house together and pump the blood some.
Turned out line dancing was perfect. We didn’t mind the hokey setup—everybody standing in rows, all doing the same moves as the music played. It was a great way to mingle with people.
That was how we met Trisha and Scott. They were a married couple our age. We shared similar interests and tastes, and they were fun to have a beer with between rounds of dancing.
I’m not going to lie, though. I pretty quickly developed a bit of a crush on Trisha. She was very attractive, also smart and sweet.
